Larger groups > 25 at 24th St and > 20 at Sutter St, will be divided into two teams with each team spending half their time on the wheel and the other half hand-building. While you can select the class length that works best for you, here are some guidelines to consider. The 2hr class works great for groups up to 14. The 2-1/2 hour class works best for groups of 12-25 and the 3 hour class is best for groups of 23-50. Groups larger than 50 at our 24th St Studio or larger than 40 at our Sutter Studio may not give everyone a chance on the potter's wheel.

From mud to masterpiece: We'll help you shape your vision. Then over the next 4-6 weeks, your instructor will trim your masterworks, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire to perfection. Then you can take your unique piece home and let it remind you of the day you got down and dirty with art.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: More than 7-days prior to the event: Full refund and no fees. Within 7 to 3 days: 1/2 refunded or 50% re-booking fee. Within 3 days of the event: No refund, 75% re-booking fee.

Registration fee covers instruction, up to 3 pounds of clay, use of equipment and tools, glazing and firing.

You will be notified between 4-6 weeks for finished pottery pick-up.

Participants are expected to clean-up their work areas the last 15 minutes of the event unless a $11 service fee has been paid in advance.
